Gluing steel seems to be a simple way of gluing steel, but to achieve the desired effect, it needs to be quite careful, so what is the use method of gluing steel?
 
1. Sticking treatment
 
1.1. The plastering layer, oil dirt and dirt shall be chiseled off the concrete bonding surface, and then the 1-2mm thick surface of the concrete surface shall be removed by grinding with an angle grinder. After grinding, the floating dust shall be blown off with compressed air, and then the surface shall be wiped off with cotton cloth dipped in acetone to keep dry and standby. The larger pit shall be repaired and leveled with steel bonded structural adhesive.
 
1.2. The surface of the steel plate shall be degreased first, and then rough treated with an angle grinder until there is metallic luster after grinding. Then dry the surface with a dry cotton cloth and keep it dry for standby.
 
1.3. The main tools used in the use of gluing: angle grinder, diamond grinding disc, grinding wheel, air compressor, cotton cloth, goggles, dust mask.
 
2. Pressure fixing and unloading system preparation
 
2.1. The live load such as personnel and office machines and tools borne by the component should be temporarily removed, and the temporary construction load should be minimized.
 
2.2. The system composed of Jack, base plate and top bar should be used for pressure fixation. The system can not only fix the steel plate, but also remove part of the dead load borne by the component, reduce the stress lag, which is more conducive to the collaborative stress of the post bonded steel plate and the original component, and the reinforcement effect is good.
 
2.3. The system composed of bolt, angle steel and base plate can also be used for pressure fixation. The system can drill temporary fixed bolt and angle steel at appropriate position on the reinforced member for the use of pressed steel plate.
 
2.4. It can also drill holes on the steel plate, stick the steel glue and anchor the screw rod with glue. After tightening the nut, the composite anchoring force will be produced on the steel plate, with better effect, which is more suitable for the side steel plate sticking.
 
2.5. The above methods are often used in combination in actual construction.
3. Prepare steel adhesive
 
3.1. The adhesive is composed of a and B components, which are proportioned according to the proportioning ratio. It is recommended to use mechanical mixing. The mixer can be composed of electric hammer and mixing teeth, which can be made by welding cross shaped Φ 14 steel bars at the end of the electric hammer bit. A small amount (within 0.5kg) can also be manually mixed with Φ 6 and Φ 8 fine steel bars. (Note: mixing only with greasy knife can not ensure even mixing).
 
3.2. Take clean container (plastic or metal basin, free of oil, water and impurities) and weighing scale and mix them according to mix proportion, and mix them with agitator for about 5 minutes until components a and B are evenly mixed. When mixing, it is better to mix in the same direction to avoid air bubbles. Each time the amount of glue should not be too much, now it is used.
 
3.3. Main instruments used in the use of gluing: agitator, container, weighing instrument and gloves.
 
4. Gluing and pasting
 
4.1 after the adhesive is prepared, apply it on the surface of the treated steel plate (or concrete surface) with a greasy knife. The glue section should be slightly triangular, with a thickness of about 3 mm in the middle and a thickness of about 1 mm at the edge. Then, paste the steel plate on the component, fix it temporarily with the prepared fixed pressure system, and pressurize it properly, so as to extrude the glue from the edge of the steel plate.
 
4.2. The steel adhesive has high thixotropy and is resistant to sagging, but uneven pressure may still cause slight local flow, so pay attention to inspection within 1 hour after pasting, and make up in time in case of glue shortage.
 
4.3. The main tools used in the use of gluing: pressure fixing and unloading system, greasy knife and gloves.
 
5. Curing and unloading pressure fixing system
 
5.1. The steel bonded structural adhesive can be cured well at room temperature and low temperature.
 
5.2. If the curing temperature is about 25 ℃, the pressurized fixed system can be removed in 24 hours and put into use in 72 hours.
 
5.3. If the curing temperature is about 5 ℃, the pressurized fixed system can be removed in 48 hours and put into use in 96 hours.
 
6. Test
 
6.1. During the inspection, the steel plate can be pasted by tapping with a small hammer, and the pasting effect can be judged from the sound, or the ultrasonic instrument can be used for detection. If the effective bonding area of the anchorage zone is less than 90% and that of the non anchorage zone is less than 70%, the steel plate shall be stripped and re pasted.
 
6.2. Load test can also be used for important components. Generally, the standard value of loading to normal load is adopted by level. The test result is more intuitive and reliable, but the cost is higher. Jack or counterweight (commonly used sandbag, brick), dial indicator, crack microscope, etc. are required.
7, maintenance
 
After 3 days of pasting, the steel plate should be plastered with M15 cement mortar with a thickness of 20 mm to prevent corrosion, or coated with 3 layers of antirust paint.
