Joint pressing treatment:
The scraper is used to smooth and press the joint. After glue injection, press the colloid along one direction with a scraper to eliminate bubbles, trim the glue surface into a flat or curved surface, and remove the masking paper after finishing.
Material maintenance:
The sealant should be cleaned and maintained after construction, and can be cured within one day.
Construction points for attention:
(1) The sealant should be kept within the shelf life before use. Please use it within half an hour after the nozzle is cut. If the glue at the outlet of the nozzle becomes hard, it can be used again after cleaning the solidified glue.
(2) Before curing, the sealant should avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with skin, scrub with soapy water or alcohol, and then rinse with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water first. If necessary, seek medical treatment immediately.
(3) The construction environment temperature is 5 ℃～ 40 ℃, and the relative humidity is 40% ～ 80%. If the air is too dry or the temperature is low, the curing speed will be slowed down. The temperature of the substrate and ambient air should not be lower than 5 ℃,
(4) It is not suitable to apply glue on the surface of silicone base material which has been constructed. If it is to be applied, the contaminated base must be thoroughly cleaned or cut and polished with alcohol and other solvents.
(5) Silicone sealant will release a small amount of odor in the curing process, and the working environment should be well ventilated.
Due to the different sealing requirements of different base materials, the sealant is also very particular about the material, process and performance. For different base material sealing needs and use scenarios, buy different sealants, you must read the instructions before purchasing~
