Basic knowledge of dolomite glue, AB glue and tile glue

In engineering, such as adhesive type, screw type and so on, these auxiliary fixing materials are often seen everywhere, but it seems that it is difficult for us to remember their use, and sometimes the basic concepts are not understood properly. Therefore, we will make a knowledge block of "adhesive general knowledge" to help you understand.
1、 Classification of "adhesives" frequently contacted:
1. According to the bond strength: structural adhesive and non structural adhesive
As the name implies, it is used in structural bonding, which requires strong bonding strength, firmness and toughness, such as dry hanging glue for curtain wall and dry hanging glue for stone.
2. According to the use: it can be roughly divided into the following three categories according to the use
For material bonding, such as wallpaper adhesive, silicone adhesive, etc;
For interface closing, such as putty glue, etc;
It is used for sealing seam, such as caulking agent, sealant, foam adhesive, etc;
2、 How to understand dolomite glue?
Can the marble glue, which is often touched in the construction, really stick to the stone? For its material properties, see the following knowledge card:
The color of marble glue is beige and deep color, and some color powder or color crystal can be added to mix and color, which can be used for repairing stones of other colors. Because the dolomite adhesive is a steel adhesive, the curing time is very short, and it is fragile after curing. Therefore, in the process of use, the bonding material is temporarily fixed by the dolomite glue, and then the structural fixation is carried out by the structural adhesive with relatively long curing time. That is to say, first use dolomite glue to fix temporarily, then use AB glue to fix, strengthen the strength of the weak part of stone slotting. Therefore, dolomite glue plays a temporary role in fixation.
When some construction companies and designers do not understand the adhesive category, "random" use of glue often occurs, as shown below
1. The use of dolomite glue stone, the bond strength is not enough, resulting in the bar stone falling off (the most common quality problem in the construction due to the wrong glue material in the drawing or the wrong use of the construction party)
2. There is no structural adhesive used to reinforce the connection of the hanging pieces with reverse hanging stones after fixing with dolomite glue (it may be due to construction negligence, some fixed points are not covered)
3、 Tile glue
We should be familiar with tile adhesive, and its name is also very "extensive". For example, "tile glue, mortar, overflow mortar, artificial stone binder" are all its "common names". So next time you meet someone who says that, you should immediately understand it,
Key points to be noted:
1. What we need to pay attention to is that the mixing ratio is not accurate, or the mixing is not uniform, and cement and sand are mixed into the binder, which will seriously reduce the performance of the adhesive.
2. The construction of ceramic tile binder requires high technology. The uneven base course or the too thick and thin bonding layer will lead to quality problems such as stone hollowing.
