Do you know the difference between dolomite glue and AB glue? Under what conditions do you use dolomite glue? Under what circumstances does AB dry hang glue?

First of all, the performance characteristics of dolomite glue and stone dry hanging glue are different, so their uses are also different. Dolomite glue is used for the bonding of stone and stone and the repair of stone. Its composition is unsaturated polyester, which belongs to the combination of steel. Its advantage is that the curing time is easy to adjust in the dry hanging project of stone. However, due to the imbalance of unsaturated polyester and curing agent, the shear force is insufficient and the stress is large. Under the action of temperature difference and vibration conditions, the displacement is relatively large and easy to open Crack.

The dry hanging adhesive for stone is a special adhesive for bonding stone and metal. Its composition is epoxy resin. It is used in combination with a and B. It is simple and clear. It belongs to flexible combination. It does not leak oil and pollute stone. It has strong anti-seismic and distortion performance, small stress, and no influence on bonding strength. Under the effect of temperature difference and vibration conditions, the displacement caused by expansion and settlement is small.

Let's look at the difference between dolomite glue and AB glue~~

1. The base material of dolomite glue is unsaturated resin, which is compounded with curing agent to form two-component adhesive. Its characteristics are fast gel, short curing time, high bonding strength, and can be solidified at low temperature (-10). After adjusting the formula at room temperature, the gel can be solidified in a few seconds and completely solidified in about 5 minutes.

2. The base material of dry hanging AB adhesive is epoxy resin and ammonia curing agent to form AB two-component adhesive. The dry hanging adhesive of Shibao brand is generally a: B = 1:1. At present, the commonly used dry hanging adhesive on the market, at room temperature (25 degrees), its application period is generally about 30 minutes, the initial drying time is generally about 2 hours, and the complete curing is generally 24-72 hours. In general, AB dry hanging adhesive is cured slowly at low temperature (below 10 ℃), and the cost is high if the curing speed is to be increased. The durability of AB dry hanging adhesive is much better than that of dolomite adhesive, but its cost is higher than that of dolomite adhesive.

3. Due to its poor water resistance and durability, and shrinkage during curing, the construction specification stipulates that the dolomite glue is not used as structural adhesive, but only used for rapid positioning or stone repair. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the dolomite glue should never be used for large-area pasting. After curing, AB dry hanging adhesive has better strength and durability, so it can be used for bonding other structures besides marble dry hanging.

I believe we all have a good understanding of the difference between dolomite glue and AB glue. We should pay attention to the use of both during construction~~
