Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the north of Binhai Avenue on the west coast of Haikou City. The underground construction area is 136800 square meters, of which the underground construction area is 136800 square meters. It consists of an exhibition center and a conference center. There are 2320 standard booths in the interior and 25000 square meters in the outdoor exhibition hall, which can build 1500 standard booths. The construction area of the conference center is 42000 square meters, which is set up on the north side of the exhibition center, including a multi-functional hall that can accommodate 2000 people, a theater style conference hall that can accommodate 2000 people, an international conference hall with simultaneous interpretation system, and 24 conference halls with simultaneous interpretation system for nearly 800 people There are a number of small and medium-sized business meeting rooms, VIP reception rooms, business conference rooms and other supporting facilities.
At present, the basement floor concrete in the north area of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center Phase II expansion project has been completely poured. As of October 29, 2019, the total investment has been about 1.56 billion yuan, accounting for 77% of the total investment, and the overall project construction progress has been completed by more than 75%. On September 15, 2020, phase II of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center will be put into trial operation.
