1、 The method of stone glue mending
There are two methods of stone glue Mending: mechanical (flow operation) and manual (trolley or platform).
1. Mechanical rubber patching (flow operation mode)
The production efficiency is high and the automation degree is high. It is suitable for large quantities of stone gluing. The mechanical equipment of the operation method is generally composed of a flap machine, a conveying line, a dryer and a control box. The operation process is: clean the board surface - drying - adding mesh - glue patching board surface (facing or back) - drying (secondary glue patching + three times drying)
2. Manual rubber patch (trolley or platform)
Manual glue mending is a simple process for stone surface treatment. It can be used to repair a small amount of stone with low production efficiency, but it can effectively solve the role of splicing stone. It is essential for the stone processing process, especially suitable for the repair of special-shaped stone crafts. It is an effective method for local treatment of stone.
Local treatment of manual rubber patching mainly adopts the methods of "digging", "patching" and "filling". The so-called "digging" is to dig out the defects of stone, and then use the stones with similar colors and lines to fill the places where the stones are dug, and then use the glue with the same color to stick the stones firmly. The smaller the gap, the better the nature.
2、 Operation procedure of stone gluing
1. Clean the dust and other dirt on the board surface before glue repair, and dry or dry the wet board.
2. Place the stone to be repaired flat on the bracket or plate. The broken plate shall be cleaned and dried. The crack or fracture shall be bonded with the glue close to the natural color of the stone. When bonding, the external force shall be used to impact to make it more firmly bonded.
3. When using the mechanical patching method, it is necessary to decide whether to add a strong mesh according to the material conditions. After the mesh is added, the surface of the stone shall be patched after it is turned over by the plate Turner.
4. Determine the amount of glue according to the quality of the stone board, and mix the adhesive and drier according to a certain proportion, and mix the two materials evenly.
5. Brush the prepared adhesive on the board surface or fill in the cracks, and scrape evenly with a blade.
6. Observe whether there is leakage of the adhesive at the place with cracks on the board surface. If the adhesive does not fill the cracks, carry out secondary or multiple glue filling until the cracks are filled with glue.
7. After the glue plate to be placed for a few hours before grinding and polishing.
8. After grinding and polishing, if the color effect of the glue patch is not good, it is necessary to dig it out and re glue.
9. The stone material glue mending must use certain tools and means. A guiding rule shall be used to level an edge to ensure the straightness of the repaired material.
10. When repairing the plate, it can be placed horizontally or vertically. The method of vertical placement can make the glued plate more firm with the help of the gravity effect of the plate.
3、 The following principles should be followed in the glue repair of stone materials
1. In principle, the glue repair trace meets the design requirements and the natural texture of the original stone.
2. The color of the glue at the glue patch shall not be lost in the natural color of the board surface, otherwise the color is too conspicuous and easy to show the traces of the glue patch.
3. The stone used for rubber patch shall not be of regular shape, so that it is not easy to see traces of artificial treatment at the rubber patch.
4. The stone material shall be polished again without any traces of patching and uneven appearance.
