Stone dry hanging glue is used for dry hanging stone, which is generally AB component, so it is also called dry hanging stone AB glue. It is not only high strength, but also has certain elasticity, which can avoid the crack of glue joint. Based on unsaturated polyester resin, dolomite glue is suitable for bonding between all kinds of stones or repairing cracks and broken marks on the surface of stones. It is commonly used in various types of stone paving engineering and repair, bonding positioning and joint filling of all kinds of stones. Dolomite glue is not elastic and can not be used for dry hanging stone. It can be made of epoxy resin and unsaturated resin. Some of the dolomite glue made of unsaturated resin can be cured in humid environment, and the effect is very good. The difference between the two and matters needing attention on site: the important difference between them is that the strength is not the same as that of dry hanging. However, the elasticity of dolomite glue is not as good as that of stone dry hanging glue. Because the dolomite glue is cheaper, it is often used to replace the dry hanging glue in the construction of dry hanging stone, which does not meet the requirements.
1、 Characteristics of dolomite glue:
What kind of marble glue is used in stone bonding and what are its characteristics? Dolomite glue can be mixed into various colors, such as white, red, blue, green, gray, black, etc. It can also be made into translucent colorless colloid to fill and repair the stone with different colors and patterns, so as to keep the tone consistent with the stone and beautiful. Dolomite glue has good bonding strength to a variety of stone and building materials. It is widely used in indoor stone decoration, stone furniture bonding, stone bar, stone crafts, etc. Dolomite glue also has good construction performance, most of which are thixotropic. The main reason why it is widely used is that the raw materials are widely available, and the price of the products is cheap, so it is very popular with users. Compared with epoxy resin stone adhesive, dolomite adhesive has some shortcomings, such as low bonding strength, high shrinkage after curing, brittle performance, so it can not be used for bonding heavy-duty stone. The durability, aging resistance and temperature resistance of dolomite glue are also poor, so it is not recommended to be used in outdoor or high buildings for a long time. In addition, the storage stability of dolomite gum is poor, and the performance decreases with time. Therefore, we should pay attention to the date of production and shelf life when purchasing and selecting.
2、 Features of dry hanging AB glue for stone materials:
1. Usage: the bonding surface must be clean and free of pulp skin, loose matter, dust, oil and grease; mix the A and B Eucalyptus 1:1 to make the color consistent; apply the steel scraper or similar tools to the bonding surface evenly.
2. Note: if the bonding surface is too smooth, please be sure to polish and coarsen. Do not move or load the adhesive when it is not fully cured. In winter, it is better to heat the colloid to 30 ~ 40 ℃ for construction. It is not suitable for the construction site with wet stones. The effective construction time of the mixed colloid is within 15 minutes. Excess glue should not be poured inside. After use, the tools should be cleaned with acetone immediately. It should be stored in a dry and cool place with a validity of one year. If the performance is qualified, it can still be used.
