Carbon fiber cloth paste:
The carbon fiber cloth shall be pasted immediately after the primer is applied to strengthen the concrete body. Pay attention to the sticking direction of carbon fiber cloth, and ensure that the adhesive is completely soaked and fully defoaming.
1. Preparing carbon cloth
Confirm the manufacturer, specification and quantity of carbon fiber cloth.
2. Carbon fiber cloth cutting
Cutting of carbon fiber cloth: measure the size of the overlapped part, and cut the required pieces with scissors or cutters.
After the cutting cloth is rolled up, it shall be kept in a place free of dust, direct sunlight and moisture.
The waste cloth of carbon fiber cloth is treated as industrial waste.
3. Paste: after the adhesive is applied, confirm the direction of carbon fiber cloth and paste it on the surface of adhesive.
According to the environment, the adhesive should be used for different times. When the temperature is high, the adhesive should be cured quickly.
Check the sticking position, and stick it in line with the marking position.
From the head of the paste end, roll along the fiber direction to make the resin impregnated on the fiber. If the two ends are not in order, paste from the center to the end.
After coating resin on the overlapping part of carbon fiber cloth, align and paste;
The carbon fiber is completely immersed in the adhesive by rolling along the fiber direction with the defoaming roller.
The sticking operation is to make the carbon fiber completely impregnated in the resin. If there is negligence, there will be air left, resulting in poor sticking with the reinforcement body.
4. Lap joint
When pasting carbon fiber cloth, it is difficult to operate when the cloth is too wide, so it should be cut to a proper width (≤ 300 mm). Longitudinal lap length = 150 mm.
