Analysis of common problems in sticking carbon fiber (1)

Impregnated adhesive is a kind of adhesive for carbon fiber reinforcement. Due to the influence of various factors such as the construction environment and the way of compounding, there may be a series of phenomena in the curing process of impregnated adhesive that everyone is at a loss. What are the causes of these phenomena? How to solve it? I hope it will help you.

Is the curing speed of impregnating adhesive too fast?

1. The amount of glue mixed at one time is too large (some customers directly mix the whole barrel of component A and component B, and the mixture will solidify after feedback for 10min). Each time when mixing the glue, they should "mix less glue" and "mix glue frequently". Use containers with large capacity to mix glue.

2. Mixing mode: when the temperature is high, manual mixing mode can be used instead of electric drill mixing.

3.A If the proportion of component B and component B is incorrect, it can be weighed by electronic scale.

Is the curing speed too slow?

1. The curing speed of structural adhesive has a great relationship with the ambient temperature. With the decrease of temperature, the curing time increases. Heat preservation measures can be taken.

2. If the ratio of component A and component B is not correct, it can be weighed by electronic scale.

What is the viscosity of component a of impregnating adhesive?

1. In case of sudden temperature drop during construction, the viscosity of component a of the impregnating adhesive will be too large, so heating measures can be taken, such as using iodine tungsten lamp, electric furnace or water bath to preheat the adhesive to 20-40 ℃ before use.

2. During the winter construction, the temperature drops suddenly, and the maceration a component occasionally crystallizes. It needs to be heated about 30 ~ 50 ℃ for about 30min, and can be used after being dissolved and stirred evenly, which has no effect on the curing performance.
